Terms and Conditions – Inside Acceleration Tutoring Center (IATC)

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services, website, content, materials, and programs provided by Inside Acceleration Tutoring Center (IATC) (“we,” “us,” “our”).

By enrolling a student, using our services, or visiting our website, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services or website.

1. Services Provided

Inside Acceleration Tutoring Center (IATC) provides educational support services for students in elementary, middle, and high school, including but not limited to:

  • Tutoring (in-person and/or online)

  • Academic enrichment programs

  • Test preparation

  • Homework assistance

  • Mentoring and skill development

  • Educational workshops and camps

Services may be delivered in person, online, or in hybrid format.

2. Enrollment & Eligibility

  • Students must be registered by a parent or legal guardian if they are under 18.

  • Parents/guardians agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete information at the time of enrollment.

  • IATC reserves the right to decline or terminate enrollment at its discretion, including for safety, behavioral concerns, or non-compliance with policies.

3. Payments and Fees

  • All fees must be paid according to the selected plan or package.

  • Payments may be made weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or per program.

  • Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing by IATC.

  • Missed sessions without 24-hour notice may be forfeited and not credited (unless due to emergency at IATC’s discretion).

  • Returned payments or chargebacks may result in additional fees or suspension of services.

4. Attendance & Scheduling

  • Students are expected to arrive on time and be ready to participate.

  • IATC must receive at least 24-hour notice for cancellation or rescheduling.

  • Chronic tardiness or absences may result in loss of session time without refund.

  • IATC reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to weather, holidays, emergencies, or tutor availability.

5. Student Conduct

To maintain a safe and productive learning environment, all students must:

  • Respect tutors, staff, and other students

  • Follow all instructions and center rules

  • Avoid disruptive, inappropriate, or unsafe behavior

  • Treat property with care

IATC has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, violence, harassment, and vandalism.

Failure to follow behavioral standards may result in:

  • Suspension or termination of services

  • No refund for unused sessions

6. Academic Results Disclaimer

While IATC is committed to academic improvement and high-quality instruction:

  • We do not guarantee specific grades, test scores, or academic outcomes.

  • Results depend on student effort, attendance, participation, and school curriculum.

7. Communication

By enrolling, you agree to receive communication from IATC, including:

  • Progress updates

  • Scheduling information

  • Program announcements

  • Billing notices (email, phone, or text)

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

8. Website Use

When using IATC’s website, you agree NOT to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute content without permission

  • Attempt to access restricted areas or data

  • Upload harmful software, viruses, or malicious code

All content on this website (logos, text, curriculum, worksheets, graphics, and materials) is the intellectual property of IATC and may not be used without written permission.

9. Liability Limitation

To the fullest extent allowed by law:

  • IATC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of services.

  • IATC is not responsible for personal items lost, stolen, or damaged on-site.

  • Parents/guardians assume responsibility for student participation in programs.

10. Health, Safety & Emergencies

  • Parents must disclose any medical, behavioral, or learning conditions that may affect participation.

  • IATC may seek emergency medical treatment if necessary.

  • Any medical costs remain the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

11. Photo & Media Release

Unless the parent/guardian submits a written request to opt out, IATC may use photos, videos, or student work for:

  • Website

  • Social media

  • Marketing materials

  • Educational promotions

No full name, address, or personal identifiers will be publicly disclosed.

12. Privacy

Use of services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is handled. By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

13. Termination of Services

IATC reserves the right to terminate services for:

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Non-payment

  • Unsafe or disruptive behavior

  • Misuse of programs or materials

Parents may cancel services with written notice, but unused fees may be non-refundable depending on the plan.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the State of Michigan.

Any disputes must be resolved in the proper courts within Genesee County, Michigan.
